'Web Sites for Therapists' was created out of both a need and a passion. A need for affordable, professional web sites for small businesses, and my passion for all things computer and design-wise.

Looking at what other local therapists were doing online, made me realise that I really needed an Internet presence for my own therapy business. This meant that I had to find a way to create my own web site, as I simply couldn't afford the prices set by most site builders and designers.

So I scoured the Internet for web site building programmes which would suit my needs. Once I had found one, there was no stopping me. I spent hundreds of hours creating and tinkering with my 'Rainbows' site to make it the best it could be. (And yes, I'm still tinkering!)

The idea for 'Web Sites for Therapists' came about because, as other therapists became aware of my web site, they began to ask if I could help them to design theirs.

Doing this helped me to understand that not everybody has the necessary skills (or time, come to that) to design and build their own web site. Nor do those with small businesses need large and expensive sites.
